Now more than ever we need to stand up and demand better FROM ALL OF OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS. It's time to cross party lines and come together.

Rachel Maddow tells us almost nightly on The Rachel Maddow Show to "Watch what they do, not what they say," we all need to be doing that right now. It may not have reached you yet, but it will.

We need to think about the future generation, and how we are going to explain ourselves if we stand idly by and watch the foundation of this country crumble.

The answer to those you disagree with is not leave, or you're not a patriot or you don't love our country. The answer lies in listening. Nanny always said you have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen more, talk less.

Think with other peoples shoes on. I doubt very many of our core beliefs follow party lines, so why should our discussions.
